Weather Report
(as read by Leonard Cohen)
A pessimist is someone
who goes around saying
it's going to rain.
I am not a pessimist.
I'm soaked to the skin.

My Archaya told me he heard that Leonard Coen said
NO QUOTATIONS
Some men have been rained on, I have been soaked to the bone.

The idea for this short came from both Leonard and Bob Dylan: all I've done is to put a fantasy into practice.
I imagined Leonard Cohen reading the weather report, and wondered how others would handle such an important item of our daily lives.
I guess I'm inviting responses on this one.....think of how XXXXXX would do it, and post your efforts on this thread. I can think of Elvis , Brian Wilson, Paul McCartney, Bono and Ray Charles to name but a few
The title is
Weather Report
as read by........................
Keep it short!
Andrew.

Rb, it was said to keep it short not little, not
petit like in "a petty comment? Or like in "cute comment"? Hard to say. I guess it is all a matter of projection sometimes.
Lnd, is Basque the only language that keeps you lock outside? In this case 1$ to enter is pretty cheap. At least go with a US $.
Besides innocent fun is free. Otherwise it is called something else.
Ey! Now we are off topic. Not good.
Let's back on the road
Weather Report
as read by Jim Morrison
(A favourite of mine trough the time, I guess we can call it a classic by now, if we see the whole enterprise in term of nanosecond.)
Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Into this house we're born
Into this world we're thrown
Like a dog without a bone, an actor out on loan
Riders on the storm

Indeed, this morning here, we are all riders on the storm. 'Hope it will help to calm the heat.

The sun is out

The Weather Report
as read by Joni Mitchell
Woke up, it was a chelsea morning and the first thing that I saw
Was the sun through yellow curtains, and a rainbow on the wall
Blue, red, green and gold to welcome you, crimson crystal beads to beckon
Oh won't you stay, we'll put on the day
And talk in present tenses
Woke up, it was a chelsea morning and the first thing that I knew
There was milk and honey, and a bowl of oranges too
And the sun poured in like butterscotch and stuck to all my senses
Oh won't you stay....

The Weather Report
as read by The Weather Girls
Humidity is rising - Barometer's getting low
According to all sources, the street's the place to go
Cause tonight for the first time
Just about half-past ten
For the first time in history
It's gonna start raining men.

Weather report
As read by Billy Bragg
With my own hands
When I make love to your memory
It's not the same
I miss the thunder
I miss the rain
And the fact that you don't understand
Casts a shadow over this land
But the sun still shines from behind it
