LC Event 2026 presents: Kliffs (Canada)

As the second act on the opening night of the 14th Leonard Cohen Event 2026 we will have the pleasure to hear a duo from Canada, who are living in Berlin for several years now.

Mark Bérubé (guitar, keys, voice) and Kristina Koropecki (cello, synths, voice) met twelve years ago in a Montréal rehearsal space. They teamed up in 2018 as a duo under their duo name KLIFFS and released their first album Temporary Cures in November, 2019. Their music is well suited between Leonard Cohen, Rufus Wainwright, Talking Heads and Jackson Browne to name a few. We will hear a wide range of sonorous textures, rhythms, and melodies at the core of KLIFFS’ sound.
