This recording of a traditional Lanna melody ("อื่อ จา จา") reminds me a little of the instrumental that Cohen and his band played as an introduction to "You Know Who I am" in 1972 in London and Tel Aviv. The London version appears as "Improvisation" on Cohen's "Live Songs" album.
