In Aidan Levy's new doorstop biography of Sonny Rollins, Saxophone Colossus, there is a three-page discussion of Sonny's brief collaboration with Leonard on the Night Music TV show. Well worth perusing (check the index) next time you are in the bookstore or library. My favorite tidbit: during a break in rehearsal Sonny asked Julie Christensen "Is Mr. Cohen happy with what I'm playing?"
