Titled "Leonard Cohen's best reply ever," the clip was uploaded to YouTube in 2009 and has amassed over 380,000 views. Does anybody know where this clip comes from? The subtitles are German, which leads me to believe it was a German news broadcast? Or is it perhaps from a documentary?

Any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated.

I think it's from the 1974 documentary "Bird on a Wire". But I may be wrong.
