Hi folks, 10 days to go for comp. entries.
The beauty of this subject, Secret Passion, is that you can write about anyhting you wish provided you present it as an S P. Or you can approach the subject from a different angle altogether ( I know how I would).
Paula and I look forward to many more entries.
Below is the list of every single poster to write here since last Friday. I hope every one of you, and any others, enter the comp.
regards
C2

I would urge you to get in early as my inbox gets full quite quickly. I would also mention there is a Mars Bar for the winning entry and a wooden spoon for the turkey. And use your imagination a secret passion doesn't have to be real. I look forward to receiving lots more entries. A Mars Bar is a coverted thing

true, but the first one to mention Mick Jagger or Marianne Faithful will be disqualified on grounds of decency, taste etc.
I have a mate from Glascow who really does love fried Mars Bars from his chippie- yuk!

well, i must say, that in the wake of my recent loss, i have felt like there was nothing i really wanted to write about and almost felt like saying forget it completely and not entering anything. but you'll be glad to know i thought of something today and have notes, but i will be trying to put it into poetry form soon enough. perhaps i'll only get one in though and not 3 like last time. i'm just not feeling in the mood to be writing about that subject too much.

any time you like LL. I shall be recovering from an all-nighter watching the Election results and also at a Van Der Graaf Generator Reunion Concert that night, so even a minute before GMT midnight is fine!

I was going to mention something along those lines, T. But, my day is done. At least, this time, everyone will be on the same clock! I think I 'd rather have a wooden spoon than a Mars Bar mailed from the UK. How about you?
Linda.

Well, I don't see a problem or a possible conflict there. c2 will of course PM his poem to Paula, and she'll anonymize the contribution. Then c2 won't know it was he who wrote it. That's understood...
Cheers

Well, jeez, all C2 has to do is author a poem under his troll names paints, young dr freud, Daniel H., mirth, perth, etc etc etc and it will all be academic.
Then again, he could author under multiple troll names, so first runner up wouldn't even be available!
