Dear LC appreciators and friends (wherever you are),
I've scheduled our next Toowoomba LC birthday celebration for the weekend of 24th/25th September, 2005.
So with 5 months to plan your trip, I look forward to seeing at least some of you jetting in to Brisbane for this!
Programme and other details will follow in the next couple of months or so.
Cheers

Why does Oz have to be so far away and why does LC's birthday have to be after the school year begins? I would love an excuse to travel to the land where Christmas is in the summer.

Why indeed! Most inconsiderate of LC (or more correctly, his parents) that he was born then & also for Oz to be stuck out in the middle of the southern hemisphere's expanses of ocean!
By the way, I will post our 2005 event invite/program in the next week or so.
Cheers

Well I would see being stuck in the expanses of the southern hemisphere's ocean as a huge plus!

Hey you! Good to see you!
Even though Christmas down this way is in the summer, we pretend it's winter with fake snow etc. Think of the poor Santa's all dressed traditionally in stinking hot weather. The grass isn't always greener, but it is well worth tasting.

Well Paul it would seem you also call friends in the US during that time of year.
In some parts of this state it doesn't matter what color the grass is they think it is well worth smoking.
