The book & tour - an astrological prediction

From a quick glance at Leonard's chart, I would expect "The Book of Longing" (or blue chocolate?!) to be published around his birthday. October through early November looks particularly promising for a tour. Although there may be an incentive to get things moving around late August, there could be some delays at this time. Love to all, John E

Hey, thanks for this, John. It's going to be interesting to see how it plays out. I hope you're correct ~ simply for affirmation-of-astrology reasons; and, of course, your own ability to read charts :D .

Why? Will there be a tour for the book?

Good point, Demetris, since the tour is supposed to be directly related to the upcoming album, which will come after the book. I didn't notice that, as I'm just emerging from an extreme headache.

The "new album"

What I'm not clear about here is whether the "new album" referred to, is the Anjani Thomas album. If so, the timing would be more appropriate.
It seems feasible that Leonard might share a tour with Anjani, hence promoting her album and the book simultaneously (this part is pure speculation, however! All good things, John E
P.S. Hi there Andy...long time, no speak!

Hi John ~

The new album being referenced isn't Anjani's [though she has one in collaboration with Leonard], but another one by Leonard himself. It's already been mentioned that there were songs that didn't make it on to Dear Heather that will be a part of this album. You may have been absent from the Forum during the time this new album was being discussed.

A book-signing tour would be good, as well, of course. However, people can bring their books to Leonard's concerts for signing.

Hi John, I'm afraid your prediction is wrong about the year :P
This has already been said elsewhere, but here is what I believe is the order of things:
- Boof of Longing - this Fall.
- "Blue Alert", Anjani's album (songs written and produced by Leonard & Anjani, performed by Anjani) - very late 2005/early 2006
- Leonard's own new album - remains to be seen, (they have to finish Blue Alert first before starting with this!)
- tour to promote the new album - after the release

So we have a long way to the tour, and there is always chance that the plans change. However, everything in the press release has been written with an intention to make it happen!

Marie already mentioned that with all the venue's people are suggesting, Leonard will never be able to go home again.

Well, jarkko, then he'll be where the only real home someone can come to is: with those who love him. :)

Cheers

Well, we know how much he need to make an album... 8)

They did write "extensive" didn't they

Someone mentioned that Leonard will take care about Berlin 2006 dates. As we heard that 12 songs for Dear Heather were chose among 20 nearly-finished, I believe that album is half-finished. So I hope for Autumn 2006 tour!

Anyway, isn't the right time to tour with Dear Heather? (Half year after release?) As someone said: we don't need another recitation album for the tour!

Thanks Jarkko, and everyone else who has responded here. Whatever happens, October and early November will be a great time for Leonard to travel and promote his work. Never expecting Leonard to tour again, I recently told someone that I would travel anywhere in the world, if Leonard were to do a book signing! Hence a book-signing "tour" would be great. I quite agree that Leonard doesn't need to complete a new album before he does a musical tour (unless this is what he specifically wants to do). It's ironic that he might have to postpone it due to fan gatherings, since time is of the essence. I'm lucky to have seen Leonard live sixteen times previously, but hope to see him as many times again on his forthcoming tour (I hope I can include the UK, Paris, NY & Montreal).
Love to all, John E

It's true that Leonard has assured us, that there won't be any conflict with our Berlin event in August 2006. But that's due to the fact that there is still so much to do before the tour. First Anjanis CD has to be finished, then the songs for the new LC CD have to be written (or to be completed) after that the studio recording sessions will take time and knowing that a new CD usually is published a month or two before the tour start and knowing how precise Leonard on every little detail is, makes me think that a tour start in October 2006 is a very, very optimistic speculation.

But wouldn't be great Henning if it was possible for Leonard to arrange a concert in Berlin during the days of the 2006 Event?
