Dublin: “They make you sing outside.“

“When I come to this great city [Dublin], I am permitted to drink inside. Very rarely am I asked to leave a pub. Likewise, I'm permitted to sleep inside. Sadly and unfortunately, my horizontal slumbers are rarely disturbed. – But when it comes to singing, they make you sing outside.“

I always remember this bit of stage banter when I think of Dublin and the cold there.

Great memories, thanks.
None of us at IMMA or at any of Leonard's outdoor concerts cared what the weather was like!

On one hand, I know what you mean. On the other, I cared quite a lot! :-)
