Aretha Franklin covered Suzanne -- in 1972!

RIP Aretha.
While tripping around the interwebs, reading tidbits about the Queen of Soul upon her passing, I stumbled upon this previously unknown fact. Did anyone else know she had recorded a cover of Suzanne back in 1972? I'm not sure what I think about it, though. She lends it her distinctive style, and seems moved by the gospel aspects of the second verse in particular, but I'm not sure her gospel-soul style really "goes with" that song, if you know what I mean. Maybe that's why it was "Unreleased."
