it's ok. written a few years back when I was clearly in a very happy light mood

What a disgusting empty day

when my Baby is too busy

to see me and cheat on her lover

who, himself, is cheating on his wife

(I promised you the Truth

not a moral fucking life.)

What a disgusting empty day

when I walked the park alone

and when a tree fell to the ground

it made no fucking sound

as there was no couple to hear it

- my senses are muted on my own

Compelled to chocolate, dark

and then to poetry, light

Can it get any worse ?

Lacking energy to break glass or furniture,

(consider yourself smashed in principle),

there in the hall, window cracked, door unhinged

Me too

cracked, unhinged

What a disgusting empty day.

The sun's not shining

It's blinding

Bastard weather

My illegitimate sun

And here come the showers

They last for......60 minute periods

Oh you're so desperate for an easy rhyme

Take your fucking attitude

And live out your time

Away from my sensitivity

I'm as dedicated as a coconut

Don't look back in anger

Look forward to anger

Rip your bleeding heart out

As a little gesture

Nothing serious

Turns out nothing was serious

And 1 I don't count

And 2 I don't count

And 3 I don't count

Empty fucking bastard Sunday

Useless, wasted, hopeless, crying, wasted

Ouch!

That hit a nerve...
(I promised you the Truth

not a moral fucking life.)
Great line.
Empty fucking bastard Sunday

Useless, wasted, hopeless, crying, wasted
That could apply to any day of the week. Just hoping the weather will improve sometime.

Great piece Sideways
