Musical Poem

Thought you all might be interested in a new musical poem of mine, A Partnership. It's up and available for a listen, or a download for that matter (link and lyrics below as I wasn't able to attach the mp3). It's the first in a set, of which the others are being put together.
Glad you are all out there,
Bobby

Not sure what happened
In the years they grew up
Musta' happened though
And musta' been tough
She's a ballerina
Hardly touches the ground
Speaks like an English Queen
Would rather you not be around
Goes along with what's asked
Let's her eyes light up about the past
But it all seems a little funny
She don't answer the questions that she's asked
And he buttons his vest
And says hunny your the best
Then goes to work overdressed
But obviously depressed
They love to go into town
And do all it has to offer
But I think down deep he thinks
Its as aimless as an empty saucer
Like Romeo and Juliet
They snuck beneath their families
Where it was quiet and cool
Where they were their own homilies
And they've stayed there like fossils
Sitting in a cave
Wonder if they'll give up
Or make that cave their grave
Not sure what happened
In the years they grew up
Musta' happened though
And musta' been tough
It's funny he doesn't see
The woman that he married
He looks at her and says keep quiet
Doesn't like it when she's varied
So she keeps quiet,
And he keeps talking
That's what they've agreed upon,
To keep each other walking
It amazes me it hasn't broke
Their young and whispered arrangement
Both their bodies made of china
They're so bare without a cabinet
They live inside a TV town
Where the scene always stays the same
That way you can walk
And not have to know your name
Like Romeo and Juliet
They snuck beneath their families
Where it was quiet and cool
Where they were their own homilies
And they've stayed there like fossils
Sitting in a cave
I wonder if they'll give up
Or make that cave their grave
