Working on a tribute CD

Since Leonard had such a profound impact on me, musically... his passing left a bit of an emptiness. And it came to me one night, while I couldn't sleep: I need catharsis.
As such, I have rallied some friends to help put some of my favorite Cohen songs on record. My aim with this is not really to record a "greatest hits", but songs that have meaning to me.
The working list is as follows (in no particular order):
Amen
A Singer Must Die
Leaving The Table
Nancy
Iodine
Anthem
My Oh My
Dance Me To The End of Love
A Bunch of Lonesome Heroes
Avalanche
One of us Cannot be Wrong
Born In Chains
Waiting For The Miracle
Coming Back to You
Take This Waltz
Lover, Lover, Lover
Hey, That's No Way To Say Goodbye
Different Sides
The Partisan
Death of a Ladies Man
------
Hallelujah
Came So Far For Beauty
My repertoire consists of vocals, keyboard, accordion, melodica, trombone, ukulele.
The supporting cast will be as follows:
John Del Tatto and Dave Grant, guarantor of guitars: 12-String, Classical, Electric, acoustic.
Debbie and Daniel Jarvis, with their mastery of strings and wind: Violin, Mandolin, Trumpet.
Steve Enders, the sentry of the saxophone: alto, soprano, tenor.
Eric Peterson, bassist extraordinaire.
Dana Lemoine, elder statesmen of the group and father time, on the drums.
And featuring Lisa Kelley, Tina Zimmerman, and Jerilyn Cranshaw as Leonard's Angels.
Samantha Rich will be photographically documenting the whole affair, which is being produced by Jeremy Bullock and Pete Arbor.
I am very excited about this project, I know these names don't mean anything to all of you, but I'm so excited to have a real crew!! Most of us are local to one another, and are hoping to begin recording soon. None of the band are really devoted Cohen fans, so there's a lot of learning for them to do. And me. But I figured if there was anywhere folks could share the excitement, it would be here
I think my Facebook friends are tired of hearing about it, LOL.
In any event, I'll share progress as it's made.
