yes, that is indeed so. am not completely sure, but 'snarr' is most likely a derivation of 'snare' - meaning 'trap'.

That makes much more sense than running around sticking paper fish on people's backs, eh Vicomte? ;-)

The children love it, not sure they would take to snarring but kids are adaptable, so maybe one year ;-)

YES 8) !!! Let me be the second to congratulate Leonard and Kezban :D !

From all I've seen and read with/about Leonard and Kezban, this pregnancy is and this child will be the result of love between two people who came to know each other very well as individuals, fellow human beings, and friends who shared deep mutual admiration long before their baby was conceived. Boy or girl, this child should be highly intelligent and stunningly attractive. This seals the deal on speculation as to Leonard's touring again. Priorities deeply and permanently rearranged.

Well done, Leonard and Kezban 8) .

My heartiest and heartfelt congratulations and love to you both... and all three relatively soon,
Lizzie

Not sure whether to say "Beam me up" or "Is she having me on Rodders"

hei. it has come to my attention that someone has taken my april fool's message seriously, by someone who did not read it until some days afterwards. this makes me feel very bad, as it was not my intention to make anyone the object of ridicule - especially someone whom i respect very highly. let us please not engage in any cruel mobbing, as innocent as it is meant, because sometimes we hurt people more than we realise.

Is not this the entire purpose of making an "April fool's" joke, to try to get somebody to believe you, and then to call them a "fool" (thus "ridiculing" them)?

Regardless, perhaps the subject line and original post could be amended, making it clear that this is just a joke, to avoid any future confusion/misunderstandings (because, let's face it, the possibility of your "joke" being true is not entirely unrealistic! We are talking about Leonard! ;-) ).

You're right, Lisa.
And I missed the implications of the responses, as well as its being a joke, too. I interpreted the majority of responses as not directed toward me, but as comments on the presumed absurdity of the postulation to begin with. Any offense wasn't taken personally, but to what seemed the implications of Kezban being behind a snaring [ha... guess that IS a word, since I didn't get a red underline of it] of Leonard. I hold Kezban as being above that kind of behaviour. Maybe I'm just too tired or just tired enough these days [working 7 days/week and fairly long hours at that] to not have taken it personally [even though you'd think the reverse would be the case].

You're right here, too... and beyond the sexualized image of Leonard that many still have, but more so from my perspective of how we all want Leonard to live forever... and a child is the natural progression of that desire, albeit it only living through that child's genes. Many women/girls far younger than Kezban openly express such desires to join Leonard in intimacy, though their desire or fantasies are expressed in varying ways. And how such a union could occur between these two people, as I've already sincerely said, is totally understandable to me. Kezban's much younger, very beautiful, and very intelligent... what's not for Leonard to be attracted and drawn to... though intimacy would certainly change their day-to-day interaction dynamic; which I'd think would give Leonard pause because he already knows that all too well. When it was truly relevant I used to say, "I'd rather be friends forever than lovers for a moment in time" ~ and that perspective has stood me well, especially considering the prognoses for many relationships.

Anyway, thanks to my dear friend of long standing, Geoffrey, for coming to my defense as he did. I had finally written him and asked if this was a wind-up, given the nature of the responses and that it wasn't in the News section. If there ever were Leonard-related news, that would surely be it!

Hope everyone has a lovely and fruitful day. As for me, I need to return to work in the bail bonds office where I work, part of the process of putting criminals back on the street :? [you can see where my flight of fancy took me in my imaginings of Leonard becoming not a grandfather to another child, but the biological father of a third one].

All the best,
Lizzie
