Order of the Unified Heart

Post by Geoffrey »

[From the days when everybody (Jarkko still does!) called me 'Snow']

"Here's what you need to know," he tells you as he places the ornament in your hand. "There are no meetings, no by-laws, and no dues, and if you lose the pin, you get another."

All you got was a pin?! You guys had it easy back then! By the time I joined the "Order," the initiation was a bit more painful (and permanent!). ;-)

what an attractive version of the unified heart, especially on such delectable skin! i don't normally approve of tattoos, but this one, enhanced by the golden tan background, is nothing less than totally beautiful. i am unsure of whether or not you wished to conquer pain, but you have served leonard well. incidentally, i have often wondered if there is a right or wrong way to draw this symbol - as a search on google provides both versions - and one of them cannot be wrong.

Dear Geoffrey,

I was trying to think of a clever response using Leonard's lyrics, but I seem to be bereft of such creativity on this particular morning. Therefore, I will simply say: thank you for the nice comment about my tattoo (and my skin!). You are very kind. :D

some mornings i too suffer from lack of creativity. it matters not, especially when the sun peeps over the mountain to spread its gracious warmth - as today. i sat on the balcony like a king, and ate a simple breakfast of turkey, sweetcorn, green paprika, potato salad, cherry tomatoes, spring onions, cheese and crisps on dry ryebread with a sprinkling of black pepper. who needs inspiration on such a glorious day. time to relax ;-)

I hope you completed your meal with an Order of the Deep Fried Tart. Leonard would approve of that and he would love the tattoo on LIsa's leg which, as you said Geoffrey, is very attractive.

The world over, (subject to War Zones), there is often a touching friendship between kids and the Local Eccentric. There's Nor way it should be different in your country, whichever that may be.

I know that song "Tit Willow" from the Mikado, yeah?

GILBERT & SULLIVAN

The Mikado: Tit Willow Lyrics

On a tree by a river a little tom-tit
Sang "Willow, titwillow, titwillow!"
And I said to him, "Dicky-bird, why do you sit
Singing Willow, titwillow, titwillow'?"
"Is it weakness of intellect, birdie?" I cried,
"Or a rather tough worm in your little inside?"
With a shake of his poor little head, he replied,
"Oh, willow, titwillow, titwillow!"

He slapped at his chest, as he sat on that bough,
Singing "Willow, titwillow, titwillow!"
And a cold perspiration bespangled his brow,
Oh, willow, titwillow, titwillow!
He sobbed and he sighed, and a gurgle he gave,
Then he plunged himself into the billowy wave,
And an echo arose from the suicide's grave —
"Oh, willow, titwillow, titwillow!"

Now I feel just as sure as I'm sure that my name
Isn't Willow, titwillow, titwillow,
That 'twas blighted affection that made him exclaim
"Oh, willow, titwillow, titwillow!"
And if you remain callous and obdurate, I
Shall perish as he did, and you will know why,
Though I probably shall not exclaim as I die,
"Oh, willow, titwillow, titwillow!"

One Order of the Deep-fried Tart and a pepsi max please

Post by Sideways »

My daughter is a 2nd year medical student and she identifies the anatomic part as a "leg". Over the years she has seen many legs, both in study and sometimes even on the street. I don't think she would go out on a limb unless she was quite sure. I think you may be in body denial.

I wish her well -- medical school is a lot of hard work! However, I am already a "Dr", and thus I can provide irrefutable scientific evidence from my many years of studies and research. How's this? ;-)
