I moved house 6 months ago and am still unpacking boxes. Today I got to the box with the remaining copies of 'The Diamond's Mine' and thought I'd better do a quick stock take - 40 left! In fact there's been '40 left' for a year or two now so i thought I'd better mention it now in case anyone is Christmas shopping ;-) Damn - did I mention Christmas there??
OK - the book is now 7 years old but I'd like them to find good homes. I won't be having any more printed after they've gone.
If this is all new to you the link takes you to where I've put it on amazon where I've reduced the price (sorry if you bought it for more back in 2008) You can have a sample read of the kindle edition if you're not sure - or even buy the kindle edition but that would still leave me with '40 left' :D

Pete, you are down to 39. Man, I hope it makes it across the pond without getting wet!

Looking forward to a good read.

Thanks.

A BLAST of a book! Pete's sense of humour is nowhere lacking! Funny man. Funny writing!

Pete, received the book, nice and dry. I have started it 2x but am having a difficult time. Perhaps my understanding is lacking, and perhaps just a difference of writting style that I am familiar with.

The best to you.

a book should give the reader pleasure, not a difficult time. you have twice abandoned trying to read it, you say - and question whether the fault lies with the author's writing style or with a lack of understanding from your side. i too once purchased a book that failed to give joy, but instead of throwing it away i hollowed it out by cutting a secret compartment into the pages and made a little book-safe where i hide keys, condoms, tablets, passwords, rare coins - small things like that.
