Something Lizzy and I are talking about. Jarkko can you find out if Leonard has read St. Luke's Gospel. (I'm sure he has). And if not tell him that I think he should.
To the rest of you I'm not a Christian in the formal sense. I just strongly feel that this pariticular gospel is not only one of the greatest pieces of literature in the world but that much of it is wonderful teaching.

Hi Glyn,

Just going by his songs, writings, and quotational-comments he makes, my guess is that Leonard has read the entire Bible, multiple times, and probably knows much of it inside out. We'll see....meanwhile, I have not read Luke as a whole and will do so. I agree that there's much good teaching and principles to live by throughout the Bible.

It would be my guess that he has read the entire Bible in his quest for answers in religion and human nature.

I know he studied the whole Old Testament (actually Torah) in his youth, it was part of his Jewish education. At the same time he has Catholic nunny, and the went to Catholic church in Montreal together.

Yes. It was pretty naive of me to ask the question.

Not Naive at all, you made a very good statement and question. I have read it but never hurts to be reminded and inspired me to read it again.

Dear Glyn,
When it comes to Leonard, what could possibly be naieve  ? Unless we know him personally in all aspects or have read/heard everything he's said. Maybe he's only read what he was forced to by the hierarchy...for all we know at this asking! My response is just my guess.
