Easter contemplations led to a poem

Easter Morning

Bells are ringing
People singing
On a foggy English
Easter morn

I suspect
A celebration
For the resuscitation
Of the human race

I suppose it's a nice thought

But what about the race
Of very subtle minds
In perpetually bursting
Bubbles of reality?

When one psychotic
Bubble bursts
Their pathetic karmic paradigm
Makes another

Humans are a very small piece
Of the picture

On a stroll,
leading an elderly horse
between the grazing and the acorns

Many say humans reincarnate after death,
at eighty-four thousand cycles per second.
They are wrong.
It is fifty thousand cycles per second.

I counted them over and over again;
in one go as well as in smaller lots,
grouping these so they form ever bigger ones.
Over and over again.

It is perfectly impossible that I should be mistaken.

Moments

If you take some LSD
You can see
Moments
With your eyes
As they pass you by

Sixty moments per second
I am told
By one who knows

But another one who knows
Said two hundred

I suppose
They measured moments
Differently

Who would try to measure moments
it's moments measure us.

How many moments per second
depends on the speed of time.
