Pre-Raphaelite art and the songs of Leonard Cohen have some commonalities. Not aware that Leonard Cohen has been asked about his exposure to, and the possible influence of, the visual art of the Pre-Raphaelites.
I could cite a few commonalities, but that would diminish the fun of personal discovery for those who haven't considered the subject of this thread.
There are some outstanding documentaries that can be accessed by entering "Pre-Raphaelites" in the YouTube search engine. One is Andrew Lloyd Webber: A Passion for the Pre-Raphaelites. Another is The Pre-Raphaelites: Victorian
Revolutionaries.
