Hi, all. First time I've sent a query to this forum, so please forgive me if I'm clumsy with the protocols. I've read Alan Light's book, and would like to know if Hallellujah continues to be as popular as he described it. Can anyone tell me how to get in touch with him?

In touch with who? Alan Light or Leonard Cohen?

Ps:

Hallelujah is popular as hell! :D

Perhaps the most popular song of Leonard Cohen.

My son heard me sing this song while I was cleaning the car and he says to me "You saw Shrek 2 too?"

Lol

Here in the Netherlands some nitwit seriously said "Why is that old man singing a song of xxxx". I do not recall the correct name of XXX but it was one those persons trying to get big on a TV contest where everyone can take a chance to show how good they (and parents and friends) think they are.

Thanks, seadove - I meant Alan Light. (Already have LC's lawyer's address from this site). Is anyone tracking the number of Hallelujah plays as Bechel did years ago?

Hi joewro ~ Welcome to the Forum :D .

For ONE answer to your question, check out this thread in the News section ;-) :
Russian Birthday Project: Hallelujah & 5775 singers

I'd just copy the link to it, except my computer has decided it prefers to keep the field where links show hidden. [Don't ask me...  ]

By its very nature, however, "Hallelujah" will continue to be popular, as it's a classic.
