I was to one of his gigs in Rome around 8 years ago, and he was "magic"!

I too was saddened to learn of his death. Pulled out and have been listening to Friday Night in San Francisco[/i ]his fantastic collaboration with Al DiMeola (another fave of mine) and John McLaughlin.
