What a lovely person Anjani is; so warm and down to earth. She chatted with many of the artists; especially the younger female artists and was so encouraging and they were all so impressed.

The beautiful voice of an angel!

She came down with a cold and gave us a stellar performance, in spite of it all! What a pro! Her piano playing, wow!

She had a wonderful time here and I think she plans to return, some day soon I hope.

In the second clip she introduces the song 'Standing on the Stairs' . saying this is from' Leonard's record' which will be coming out ' next year' ( presumably now this year ).
I guess she has privileged information
I hadnt heard this before .Great to hear a new leonard song( or co written) on new years day .

David, I'm sorry to spoil the lovely illusion, but it sounds like she says the song is on HER next album, which is coming out next year. And you had me all excited. . .nice song, though, anyway. . .

Anjani has uploaded video of her performance of the two songs - I believe from the second night - December 29, 2013

Anjani performs "Song To Make Me Still" and "Standing On The Stairs" at the Feast of Cohen in St. John's, Newfoundland on December 29, 2013. Both songs are written by Anjani and Leonard Cohen. Anjani's new album "I Came To Love" will be released Spring 2014.
