Congratualtions Critic2! I see you did manage to get in on time for the contest after all. But you had some stiff competition. Not me of course. I am going to refuse to claim mine. Yours I like even if it is Whiney.

An excellent effort, but what ever could you have had in mind with all that additional white space!

Joe

There is something vaguely familiar about this effort. In fact, I think I know the author and he is, therefore, disqualified. (He obviously didn't bribe me enough).

Dear poet #26,

May I suggest a revision that might have more merit?

"Joe's Next Topic"

Dear Joe
please walk that by me again
with an idea in your head
and some class in your hand
so we don't all write
about the Winter

ah, so you retrieved my "real" entry! The one submitted in time by gmt but disqualified by Lakeside International Time. Joe, pal, it wasn't worth it!

Thanks for judging and, LL, thanks for interfering (the verb from interthingy)

an excellent work with a highly original format. for anyone else tempted to experiment with such avant garde freedom always remember, TRY IT, EXPERIMENT, MAYBE IT WILL WORK, MAYBE IT WON'T. THE POEM'S THE THING!
