Poem #25

snowmen in broken armor
slide in like white knights
winter warriors, defending
carrot colored noses
dusted in narcotic powder

heroes of the new ice age
they bid a warm hello
whilst cold like pinpricks
down the spine binds
their fragile wards
to frozen destiny

lost in the oceans of
glittering doom, a shabby
scarf and pipe no comfort
as the summer sets in the distant lands

this deserves comment, I hate that there are some unacknowledged poems still left. come on, make an effort you lot! I know you're out there.

now, some very nice phrases even if, for me, the poem didn't work as a completed piece. that won't stop me complimenting "defending carrot coloured noses"!!!

Yes, C2, that is an exemplary phrase! And I have to admit that the follow-up image of snowmen snorting coke made me laugh!
