Intensity

Oh in your eye, the endless sea,
a shoreline never shows
and so below the quiet waves
the undercurrent flows

Intensity, within your smile
I see the truest form
when rain is bursting from the clouds
and breeze increase to storm

And as we dance across the floor
our blood will truly blend
from realms of longing, light and hope
the violins were sent

A thousand flashes in the room
the heartbeat on the run
oh passion sparkle in your eye
like amber in the sun.

I find this poem to be exquisite, Peter. Filled with desire and reverence. In the second stanza, I love the way you use nature to show faithfulness and commitment. Geez, I was going to tell you why I feel about the other stanzas, but I just love all of it. Thanks for bringing it here. Made my Monday morning :) .

This was wonderful to read. It seems so important that we realize the meaning of unity. Any of your poems set to music?

A warm hug from

Music for intensity

Thanks for the kind replies. As a matter of fact we are working right now on music to this and other texts I´ve written.

In the meantime you will see that my text of course can be sung on the melody from 'A thousand kisses deep' (the gigantic farther of this tiny text). :)

I wonder what poems
drove me into the
obsession of text
