Hello, I'm Carolyn Mary Kleefled, artist and poet from Big Sur, California. I've found Leonard Cohen to be a huge inspiration to my work.
I look forward to sharing our thoughts and creative wanderings with one another. Here is a one of my poems that I would like to share.

Frontiers of Desire

The moon serenades us
at midnight, on a Greek isle,
as we stroll along
the white paths of kindness,
draped by gossamer light,
our touch aflame.

O passion that seeds our loins,
let us travel the frontiers of desire–
the land of our soul’s fulfillment.

O love of this full-mooned night,
blaze of my soul’s longing,
let us ever explore
the farthest corners of love,
the Orphic isle of dream.

Painting: "Divine Kiss" (Oil on Canvas | 20 x 20")

Mmmmmm... have just now seen this one, Carolyn. Love how their faces come together and the perspective keeps switching.
The words well fitting for moonlight walks on Hydra with one you love.
Thank you so much for these :D

Hello and welcome Carolyn.

I love your Painting - it's beautiful dreamlike quality is captivating.
Your poem also feels dreamlike to me. I've never been to Greece but I imagine walking the same 'white paths' the ancients once walked and philosophers once stood and spoke on.
