My son brought me back this cool fun photo (picture-card) of Leonard from China.

I have never seen it before, but it was taken by the Italian photographer, Guido Harari, in 1989.

I Googled to see if I could find it on-line anywhere, but couldn't and I also checked on the Forum here, so I suspect not many of you, if any, will have seen it before.

Nice gift from your son. I have seen this before but can't remember where. There is another which is from the same day (I think) of Leonard pulling a jacket up around his head. Will keep searching and will report back if and when I find them again!

I was wrong about these 2 photos being taken by the same photographer. My searches returned the same as you, the cover of the anthology but I'm still convinced I saw it somewhere else too. Terry O'Neill took the jacket one. I once saw this on Facebook Bev. I couldn't believe the symmetrical alignment of my two favourite artists one after the other and also doing opposite similar things

great picture, but I was hoping to see Leonard with a hammer or fixing a radio or something.

... I wonder if Leonard Cohen ever purchased an ikea bookshelf.

Bev and musicmania, I only did word searches, but I really do need to learn how to do Google picture searches, like you folk who engage in the Picture Game here clearly do!

I only recognized that photo because I actually have that anthology songbook book!
I found out about it from Jarkko's Leonardcohenfiles site and bought it from musicroom.
I got it to play songs on my violin. Some are more successful than others I might add

I've had the other images for years now so no need to search. Dr H Guy has some interesting "face touch" photos as well.

And what do you think about the picture on the cover of this music cassette from the eighties? It is cassette format as you can see, but it says "compact disc" on the inlay (click on image to enlarge) .....
