Sophia Morres (I've mentioned her in previous posts)
has written an article about Hydra for the "Saronic Magazine"
titled "The simple grandeur of Hydra"

I am posting here one of the accompanying photographs.

I believe I had my photo taken from the shore, with me on that first little spit of land just before the next larger before the mountainous piece.

The island in the background is Dokos. Supposedly it looks like a whale, but to me it has always been a beautiful lady reclining on her side.
