Hi everyone, i've just joined up. I've been into Leonard Cohen since the Natural Born Killers soundtrack (about 1995 I think) but have spent the last few months completely engrossed after reading "I'm your man" and getting tickets to see him in London in June. I've had Old Ideas, Field Commander Cohen, Dear Heather and The Tower of song tribute cd on repeat pretty much constantly. Just wandering if there are many British people on here?

MANY, susannahbanana

. You'll be delighted with the numbers. Happy for you that you'll be seeing Leonard in London. There's also a specific thread in this section, as well, where you can go to introduce yourself. Welcome to the Forum

.

Yes, there are many many Britons here. You can spot us easily: we are the ones who know how to spell English correctly -- 'colour' not 'color', 'aluminium' not 'aluminum', 'sulphur' not 'sulfur', etc etc

Except "etc." by its very nature is to be used but once. To do more so is simply redundant

Hello Susannah,
Welcome to the forum! Yes, lots of Brits here but the best thing about this forum is that it's
truly global - a great space to communicate, celebrate and debate. I was made aware of this
forum several years ago but only joined last year. It is very pleasant to drop in from time to time.
Awesome that you are going to O2 in June. LC is the only man/artist I know who is able to transmogrify
that cavernous dome into an arena of intimacy.
And isn't the biography fab!
