Hi everyone!

I would like to ask you a favour. Sony Music Entertainment Netherlands started a music platform called I Am Leonard, to promote getting to know Leonard Cohen not merely as an artist but as a person as well. On our platform we share -next to posts about his music- knowledge about topics like poetry, art and Buddhism. Please join our community on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/iamleonardcohen or Tumblr: http://iamleonardcohen.tumblr.com. I would appreciate your support a lot!

Kind regards,
Esmeralda

Why, yes. Every Justin Bieber fan, ever.

In fairness, I did have a civil Twitter exchange with one of them, who was willing to concede that LC "seemed like a talented guy."

It can be even worse:

Lately a girl, let's call her Helen (joking) sung "Hallelujah" in one of those many shows where everyone can apply to get his/hers 15 minutes of fame/shame on Television.

Shortly afterwards one of her fans spoke the famous words "I heard a guy Cohen singing her sung and he did it pretty well"".

I saw a suggestion that a category needs to be added to the Junos for "worst cover of Hallelujah, " and every year the winner will be shot... by Leonard Cohen.

the idea has merit, but then I'm pretty sure LC is the kind of guy who would do the deed with a Canon.
