BBC6

BBC6 is a DAB radio channel in the UK and available only to those who had a dab radio for Christmas. I have long ranted about the house how there is a taste in music that is not catered for on the music channels on satellite tv. Music on the tv is for middle aged women in cardy's or brainless teenagers. I got into bed the other night. Turned on BBC6 and the announcer said, 'In our live session tonight we have', you've guessed, 'Leonard Cohen'. It was the first time I've heard Cohen on the radio in ten years. And up came Bird on a Wire from the 1968 Top Gear session.
Also I love the new album. Its his loveliest since Songs of Love and Hate (in my opinion).
All good elements to you this year.

Hi Glyn ~

It's good to see you here. It was Leonard truly Live, or a past recording of a Live appearance? Either way, it was a great program to greet you.

Hi Glyn
BBC are providing a good alternative with their digital channels (see other posts about BBC 4 with Leonard making 2 appearances)

I can get BBC6 through sky digital on the TV and sometimes tune in together with all the other digital radio channels, including one called planet rock.

Antiochus? Glyn? The glyn Glyn? Or a new Glyn? The Shakespearean Antiochus (from Pericles)?
so many questions, so many Toms...
