In Sylvie Simmons' new book, she writes, "Leonard's was the face Joni drew on a map of Canada in her song 'A Case of You,' in which a man declared himself to be as 'constant as a northern star.'"

What? Is A Case of You about Leonard? Is this common knowledge? I'm having trouble not having my mind blown.

I wouldn't call it "common knowledge", but the rumors have been circulating for some time.

Allan Showalter wrote about it in 2007:
