I've just noticed that Bob is not touring this time - he has been with Leonard for many years. Do we know why?

Thanks for that. Hope he returns soon and all the best to him for his health.

Best wishes to Bob Metzger. Much as I love the new sound there were times when I missed his strong contribution, especially on the pedal steel in "Heart with no Companion". Hope he's doing well and not missing too much being on the road and playing in the windy cold!

Good health to Bob. I assumed he was probably just too "road weary" to join the latest tour rather than it being a health issue. I'm sure that both he and that warm and gentle tonality are missed.

UrPal, I did miss Bob too but I didn't want to mention it my previous post because it might have been too much.
His absence is definitely noticeable. I missed him standing up and swaying to the music while he played. He also lent something to the right side of the stage. But mainly what I missed was his slide guitar. It is sorely missing on Heart
With No Companion, not to mention others. There was just a nice atmosphere with the previous three that is not there now.

Also something dawned on me While I was driving home from work this morning and listening to Field Commander Cohen.
Many here said they wanted this tour to sound like the '79 tour, well his band at that time had horns and a violin and so did subsequent tours. I am not sure why that wasn't done this time.
