I know you are coming back from Madison, but it is not time to open the new tour concert section? Starting with Gent, OC :D

Thanks for posting this Bea. It's nice to see that work on the venue is coming along - but it's also nice to see a little of what the square looks like when there isn't any concert too!

Hi Wendy and Bea
Sitting here trying to get on top of my work so I can unwind on Saturday - ready for Sunday!!
It's great to see the old blue chairs being set out again - the old seating layout....but, guessing from what has been posted here, probably a very new sound and look to the band. Which maybe means different songs in addition to the tracks from 'Old Ideas'.
If I just hear 'The Window' with the violin I will be in heaven.
Can't wait!
AND we get a goodie bag!!!! (thanks again Maarten!)

See you there!
Cilla.

Does Sherpa has a will call or e-ticket service?

If I had the chance to see an 'outside' L.C. Concert, Gent seems like a wonderful place to experience such a sublime performance.

Here is the stage in front of "Our-Lady & St. Peter's Church"
The technical equipment was being installed some moments ago when these pictures were shot.

In today's issue of belgian newspaper Le Soir, you can find a half a page long article about the upcoming concerts in Gent.

I will summarize the information that can be found in the article:

- 8000 tickets were in sale for each of the five concerts
- Local organizer Pascal Van de Velde (from Greenhouse Talent) hints that Adam Cohen might join his father on stage (Quote: "Nothing is sure but with this family you never know") as a special guest on the 14th.
- The show will be "at least" 3 hours and 20 minutes long
- A CD and DVD of this tour are planned but it is not yet known where they will be recorded.
- Free ponchos will be available in case of rain.

It's also interesting to note that Belgium is the European country in which Leonard has sold most tickets since his comeback in 2008 (100.000)

I wish you all great concert(s) experience(s) in Gent. I can't wait for tomorrow. :D

The square looks beautiful, weather too (knock, knock).
Have an amazing time everyone. I know tonight would be unforgettable.
Maarten, I think you set the bar super high for any future concert with your goody bags. Fedora off for your hard work!

Will tune in for reports, photos and vids.
Greetings from boiling hot Tel Aviv,
--Sharon
