There will be an Art Exhibition of Leonard Cohen (more than 50 of his art prints) at the Porvoo Art Factory, http://www.taidetehdas.fi/english/.

The exhibition will be open daily except Mondays from August 31 to September 23. Free admittance.

Adam Cohen will perform at the opening night on August 30, and some Finnish artists will play LC's songs.

Porvoo is an old idyllic city near Helsinki (40 min by bus), http://www.porvoo.fi/en.

You have to sign up for the trip before July 15.

I hope the exhibition can follow the tour around.

The exhibition is a separate project. The timing of the exhibition in Finland is just a sheer coincidence.

Yes, some 55 of those prints.

There is a gallery on Thomas Street in the Northern Quarter (Manchester) which had an exhibition of LC art. I don't know if they still have any but might be worth a call or a visit.

That will be a nice bonus. I'll be there if possible.

Thank you Jarkko and Eija for this slide show! The curator did a fabulous job. I especially like the juxtaposition of his black and white drawings against the bleak, grey concrete wall.

When I went to the exhibition last summer in Porvoo, there was a book for sale containing pictures of the prints. Is it possible to buy this book online, and if so, where? A friend's birthday is coming up and I thought it would be a good present for her.
