From Argentina!

I falled here. This is new for me. I'm Fernando from Argentina and I would like to share a song I wrote time ago. English is not my natural language, but I do my best. Is cleary influenced by Leonard. And is cleary worse.

I tried so many times until I got to the end.
The tunnel was so long, but I still walked every day.
My feets felt the blood, my soul could no more believe.
“Please”, cried my tongue, “Give me some air to breathe”.

And the Jewish and Christian continue to fight.
I want a new religion to get my body bright.

I often think that I haven’t done much since I born.
The victims of frightness, may tell us if I’m wrong.
To be good, they say, you don’t need to emulate Jesus Christ.
Because the right to be hold rest inside of your mind.

Shadows are dancing through my bed.
They convinced me, I shake both their hands.

Let’s sing again, to conquer the thrones people built.
Shyness should be pushed away, the pride of who you are must resist.
In the South or the North, children want to play.
All the street dogs, would eat the meat you give them.

Some things won’t change although you declare the war.
But others you know you must try to be someone.

Thousand of shops are waiting for you to buy.
The clothes, the costume, the mask, they say you need to survive.
Many dance in the halls, but others refuse to fall in the sin.
One said “We should move in our style, is the only way to be free”.

The Epic monsters are laughing in the books.
They would like to join us, we want them too.

I tried so many times until I got to the end.
The tunnel keeps growing, and maybe the same with my legs.
But now I have to shut my mouth and close my eyes too.
The thing is I doubt my words spell the truth.

Hello Argentina! Great to have you here!! Do you have a YouTube or video/recording of your singing your song? I can see the resemblances in your thinking with what Leonard has written. Translation has created some stumbling blocks, but that's to be expected. Thank you for sharing your song.

Now you're getting techno on me and I have no idea, Argentina [yes, I know your name is fkobob, but I so much prefer Argentina, that that's what I'm going with... don't usually do that, but doing it this time ;-) ]. All I know is that links get posted... what's on the other end of them I couldn't begin to know lol. Guess we'll find out, though :) .

Probably because I've always loved the name Argentina. It's fun to say and I've heard great things about your country.
Tried to pronounce your nickname and got nowhere. Perhaps, you can describe what your nickname stands for or how you got it. [I'm not beyond being convinced to like it... though "Argentina" sets a pretty high bar ;-) ]
Ah, the practice is good for you, then, right? Using English? I'm lost when it comes to techno :?

Mi nickname is a word play (I dont know if you call that way) with the initial of my name and a tale of Dostoievski. It doesnt matter. Well, good to know you have good references of my country. Of Argentina! Of course this is a good practice for my english. And for my imagination, because I have no idea with whom Im talking with!
