Thought I'd draw your attention to this awesome Kickstarter campaign going on now.
They're currently at $7,344 out of $10,500 and have 8 days left to raise the remaining $3,156. Again, if they don't raise it, then nobody pays anything and the documentary does not get made
In the interest of full disclosure, I should note that while I am not a member of Conspiracy of Beards, I did back this campaign to the tune of $50 (I want that flask), and would thus like to see it get funded.
Thought I'd draw your attention to this awesome Kickstarter campaign going on now.
If you're unfamiliar with the way Kickstarter works, the campaign decides on a monetary goal (in this case, $10,500) and a period of time which they're going to try to raise money to reach that goal. People pledge various amounts, most of which come with rewards (if you pledge $50, for example, you get the actual DVD they're trying to make as well as an engraved Conspiracy of Beards flask), and only get charged when the full amount has been pledged.The Conspiracy of Beards is a 30-member a capella male choir that performs exclusively the songs of the legendary poet, novelist, and singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen.
This year we're creating a series of videos that tell the many stories of our bohemian adventures, charitable events, performances, and shed a little light into the lives and artistic pursuits of the members in the group.
