Poetry must be controlled
By arms if necessary
Every stanza that swings must be crushed
Once and for all
Soon we will march out
Shoulder by shoulder
Men of strong will
Who drive song and nonsense
Out of our town

I’m going to eat your poem
I’m going to crinkle it up into
a little ball and shove it
into my mouth
whole
. . . crunch
Letters dripping on to my chin
. . . munch
You should not have
printed it on paper, all those
words poking out and such
looking all yummy.

pointed it so proper, all that length
poking out and such
reaching to my tummy.

Cate you disgust me. Peter writes a clean, decent, wholesome poem. Then you turn it into cheap porn. Shame on you.

yes I can and I did - sorry no poem left for you.

I don't need to look for my loneliness
I know where my loneliness is. she sits on my shoulder stays close to me in crowded rooms, she whispers softly to me in the night in my dreams. She says that one day we will know each other very well, that one day it will only be the two of us.
