Maybe I'm too sensitive, but I think this is a terrible idea:
'Exclusive premiere: Richard McGraw “Leonard Cohen R.I.P. (the song)”'
http://www.ifc.com/fix/2012/03/premiere ... ohen-r-i-p
The video shows Barbie dolls mourning Cohen's passing.

There is only one word to describe this in my opinion and that is: sick. I know he refers to a dream right at the start but the image of the hospital bed and the angel etc is just too much. I would feel exactly the same way whoever it was supposed to be.

I don't really agree, obviously. But I don't want to offend you. So I just changed it to 'Terrible idea: video of Barbie dolls in mourning'.
Better?

Yes, you're quite right about that.

I wish it started about 30 seconds in.
I actually think that parts of this song are beautiful, I like the melody and love his voice. What I don’t love is the title. I think something more original would have been better and I can’t help but wonder if the purpose of having Leonard's full name there is to ‘cash in’ on it.
I get where he’s coming from. I think this is a common enough 'worry' type of dream and I can see him wanting to write about it, despite it being morbid.
(edit note - I don't think I expressed myself well the first time so came back in an attempt to be clearer)
