I loved the multiple voices of Leonard going on all at once. It's the coolest song on the CD. I wonder how this song would get performed at a concert. Did the multiple voices have anything to do with the lyrics in the song and with morning glory itself? Was this a dream? Has Leonard used this technique before?

On the original studio recording of Joan Of Arc Leonard used very unusual method of two voice - he was reciting the lyrics on one channel and singing on the other - very stunning effect. I think only Patti Smith did something similar later.

Tom told me that Leonard likes Tom Waits... i think you can tell that on this CD. especialy on this recording.

it's a sort of a light binary opposition to dark 'what's he building in there' by Waits. ying-yang thing. very buddhist.

i agree that it' one of the most interesting songs on this album.

I am very found of that song also. I like Dear Heather entirely, but one piece is catching my attention more than others from time to time, I do not know why.

And xylophone, I like so much to hear it when played in my liking, and in this piece it is a pure joy.

I read the highly interesting topic about the galloping mare. And. Don't you think that we have a living piece of - I would say zen moment - but it does not fit as I am writing it. A living piece of a zen monk practice is more acurate. Yes. The smokey life it could be sometimes to search for enlightment. Even how the song is put on the booklet is... well, I guess you could go and have a look, and you'll see what I mean.

I love your quote of Teilhard de Chardin. It teems with truth.

 Thanks, Lechehombre, for some reason I take it as a compliment, and for some reason suddenly I got shy. So I hush (and blush).

Is that mean Milk man, you nick? :)
