Just wondering if anyone here likes Dexter Romweber - or his old band The Flat Duo Jets? I've been listening to him a lot over the past few days and I am curious to know! I think his creepy sounding ballads might appeal to some of you!

I listened to a few songs.

'Find them not bad at all but too energetic for the musical background I use to wrap myself in at home. 'Seems that I am in a very contemplative mood nowadays. If only I have eighteen again, maybe.

Are they original creations? I can see that Tell Django is a tribute to Reinhardt. (I like to know the "because of" behind the creations) If you like this style Birelli Lagrene had take over of the most brilliant manner.

Which songs do you prefer, even if they are not there, anyway.

I can see that he might not be for everyone, but I really like the sounds of his moody ballads. I am just getting into him as my boyfriend is a big fan of his so I can't really name you any tunes offhand. However, I do like his cd called Folk Songs a lot. He does a lot of covers, yes...he certainly has a lot of influences too!

Dexter Romweber does blues I like. That is good, but, what can I say about other singers? I can say I like it, I can say I think this is good (or not) but - I am not a fan of anybody else than Leonard Cohen, was never fan of anybody else before (or currently. The Future? you never know it) Can't help it. That is life. So. I'll pass my turn to others in this discussion now
