RE-Posted Contest Deadline

I'm seeing now that things reversed in my head ~ the poetry contest will END at 1:00 AM GMT on Tuesday, which will be 9:00 PM EST on Monday.
That gives everyone time to get home from work [where they may/may not have had time to work on their poem] and get it turned in! However,
1:00 AM GMT on Tuesday will be the only time you will see here!

aha! now I understand- it was not a total inability to distinguish the big-hand from the little-hand, it appears instead to be a unilateral and clearly corrupt rule-change. you don't work for Jeb Bush in Florida by any chance, do you?

~ Go to where I originally posted the deadline, and you will find 9:00 PM and 1:00 AM [as well as my reasoning attached to same]. The
only discrepancy ~ let me repeat,
ONLY ~ is the assignment of GMT and EST to the relative, numerical times.
How could you sink such a rusty dagger into my heart as to suggest
any Bush connection
