ps : universe, take note! the jp-X is in the house. in the scene. groooovin to the fine funky beats. for, there is a girl now in the picture! however this crush may be unrequited. oh seasons of autumn and winter, oh sunsets so crimson and fair. whatever power it is that girls have, this girl is a sorceress. and today she meowed at me over email with THREE extra O's in "meow", as if to articulate that little upturn in the meow that your cat uses to say a special hello when you arrive at the end of the day. he he : ) this gentle whoosh of endorphins and the subtle crazytalk. stay tuned for updates as jp tries to Get the Girl...

What a luxurious environment Marianne lives in ~ that is your guitar? It looks very pretty. And, what is that multi-pointed thing going on in the foreground? A very nice picture. I'm a little confused, though. I thought Marianne is a/the girl! It sounds like there may be a boy in the picture!

your marianne looks like a much younger version of my bandit, who will be 22 this january. she's old and cranky now, but i don't mind, she has kindly let me sleep in her bed all these years...

good luck with the girl!

Rick  I just love cats.

JPX she is a beauty. Marianne is a bit of a mouthful for a moggie what do you call her for short?

Me too Paula! I have my Bandy and also a little 4 yr old guy named Moo. He looks like a holstein and is enormous! When I got him from the pound he was 4 months old and was the biggest cat in the place. He's about 23 pounds now.

that's a HUGE cat! marianne is fully grown and is only 8 pounds 8 ounces.

glad to hear that cats can be so long-lived, though : )

marianne's nickname is Baby :D

one potential name when i got her was Luna, because of her silvery coat. i wasn't quite sure that was the name for her, so i didn't choose it for sure. luna is now her second name, and marianne is a great first name. she looks like a marianne with all the monochrome. but the nickname baby has stuck, leftover from the intername period when she was the smallest ever kitten.

Rick does your cat ever sit on you. That is a massive cat. You should put it on the Catkins diet

JPX your cat has an abundance of names but as you know they only answer to the sound of a tin opener.

yes, that's my guitar. i love it : all shiny and chrome. and the pointy thing in the foreground is an origami sculpture that normally hangs on the wall, but that marianne has taken to playing with.

and, as for marianne being The girl, tsk tsk. marianne sleeps at the foot of my bed but there is oh so much space up next to me. and boys in the picture, t.y, no, not this time. there is _a boy, but he is rooting to get the girl i am after too. so he has to be ousted from this picture. with exTREME prejudice ;)

the girl is this girl.

i really hope this works out. this may become my "post-here-to-better-your-vibes" thread...

ahh. now i get it : )

nope, one cat for me. although, this girl has two. they better not gang up on my cat! although, how tasty it would be for _me to be in a position where ms B's cats would be cohabitating with mine... ;)

ahh, the schemes....

Hi jpx ~

Actually, I took the phantom, 'boy' cat to be a new one in the neighbourhood. Or, I think that's what I thought. I don't even know any more for sure. Oh, dear, now I'm getting really lost. Now, I'm wondering about your comment re: "ms B" and her cats. That makes it sound as though you are a boy :? . Anyone got a map   ?

Great shots of him, Rick! The middle one, in the fourth row down, really shows his heft :D ! Looking at the photos, I think, "Now, there's a man who loves his cats 8) !" I love cats, too.
