ok, i realize a lot of my poems i've posted here have caused a bit of controversy over the subject matter. i have been getting insults as well as praise, but i want to keep posting different things. this poem i wrote a few years ago while studying human sexuality. it's short, and intentionally simple in some ways. anyway, here it is.
The Mound of Venus
I love you by the grace of God
in our sanctified holy bed
I worship you as a goddess
To this mountain I have been led
To this edifice of praise
I singe the opening hymn
The introit to our mass
is the song of fertile sin
And so I testify to the holy vestibule
and kiss your soft wet lips
And upon the Mound of Venus
our love shall soon eclipse
The Mound of Venus
I love you by the grace of God
in our sanctified holy bed
I worship you as a goddess
To this mountain I have been led
To this edifice of praise
I singe the opening hymn
The introit to our mass
is the song of fertile sin
And so I testify to the holy vestibule
and kiss your soft wet lips
And upon the Mound of Venus
our love shall soon eclipse
