The starless blue to be

this poem, you could say is another perspective on the theme of creation
The starless blue to be
Once there was a mighty God
the greatest no one knew
who heard a whisper in his heart:
create the starless blue
The overarching sky above
the rocks, the dusty ground
was made within a single day
still, no one to be found
And so among the stars of night
his heart grew very sweet
though torn by love and loneliness
in every single beat
Then suddenly his voice announced
that creatures should appear
and eat the plants of every kind
both far away and near
So day became another night
as God began to sing
and stars would softly meet his voice
as tears upon a string
He made the human creature
and said: I hope you see
the day you sing a darkened song
you will become like me
But this his latest creature
had dreams that were so bright
that God began another song
that far more spoke of light
And then he clearly understood
the whisper in his soul
that tears were only meant to boost
creation as the goal
And this may be the greatest
the world shall ever see
from sorrows of the lonely
the starless blue to be.
The starless blue to be
Once there was a mighty God
the greatest no one knew
who heard a whisper in his heart:
create the starless blue
The overarching sky above
the rocks, the dusty ground

still, no one to be found
And so among the stars of night
his heart grew very sweet
though torn by love and loneliness
in every single beat
Then suddenly his voice announced
that creatures should appear
and eat the plants of every kind
both far away and near
So day became another night
as God began to sing
and stars would softly meet his voice
as tears upon a string
He made the human creature
and said: I hope you see
the day you sing a darkened song
you will become like me
But this his latest creature
had dreams that were so bright
that God began another song
that far more spoke of light
And then he clearly understood
the whisper in his soul
that tears were only meant to boost
creation as the goal
And this may be the greatest
the world shall ever see
from sorrows of the lonely
the starless blue to be.
