I'm so glad you haven't contacted me to confirm whether or not I've yet received your cd. I tend to listen to what comes to me, for awhile, before advising that it did. Sometimes people get concerned and check, and then it seems I'm ungrateful. However, I simply want to be able to make some comments at the same time I let them know it arrived.
So, now, I've been listening to your wonderful cd for about a week. I love the melancholy melody of "Paradis Perdut" and the melancholy sadness of "Tanta Bellesa;" the jaunty, whimsical melody of "Brindis Al Sol;" and the epic quality of the beginning of "La Secta Selecta." Now, whether the 'sound' of what I hear aligns with their meanings, only you know.
It catches me off guard to hear your covers of performers I know ~ Bruce Springsteen; Mark Knopfler; Bob Dylan; and Paul Simon. To be listening to their songs in Catalan is a pleasure I'd have never experienced without this site. Thanks again to Jarkko. Your cover of Leonard's song, "Esperant el Miracle" is haunting and beautiful. You convey a lot of emotion through your voice. Ah......the instrumentation [the excellent violin
