Joy - Thanks for drawing my attention to this programme...I'll definitely be listening to it. I loved Francoise music in the Sixties, and she was the most beautiful of all the female vocalists of the time. I have a few of her CDs, including "Tant de Belle Chose" from 2004. I find it interesting that Francoise is also an astrologer. I sent her an astrological article that I had written about Nick Drake, a few years ago (since they had an interest in each others work). She kindly sent me a 2-sided, hand-written reply.

Yes.... it seems that she was an avid letter writer. Sounds as if she's a lovely person, as well as a great singer! I have a few of her albums on vinyl from those heady days, but didn't really follow her career much after that. Think I'll explore the webiste that was mentioned in the programme.

Happy listening!
