His new album Abattoir Blues/The Lyre of Orpheus is excellent!
Any fans?

Many fans here!
I heard and saw the video last night on Viva. Sounded strange for Cave&Co

Much more mainstream. But I can't wait to buy the albums to hear it as I should.

Yeah, Birthday Party are ok but pretty hard to listen to! Can't say I mind Nick becoming more commercial as he gets older!

Bought it finally this weekend. At least The Lyre of the Orpheus struck the secret chord (and I'm sure it pleased the Lord).

Abattoir Blues / The Lyre of Orpheus is my first Nick-Cave-Album.
Now I'd like to listen to other albums by N.C. But I don't know which one to choose next. Can anybody help?

Yes: No More Shall We Part, The Boatman's Call, Murder Ballads, Henry's Dream, The Good Son in that order.

I agree, only maybe Murder Ballads on last position.
Well,
now I am happy because somebody seems to think that
No More Shall We Part deserves the first place

I am big fan of that album, and when I traded for Cave's shows and took only 2001-2 tours show, I had impression that people thinks I am some kind of nuts.

I've got a lot of Cave stuff to trade if you're interested?

I'll have you on my mind (btw I have mostly Cohen stuff), because I didn't trade for long time anf now I want first to catch up with Cohen items which appeared during my ten-month retirement.
Well, maybe we could swap lists first - I do want something peculaira, like let's say compilation of B-sides? My email's under.
