this poem (not a song, finally!) i found in my notebook. i must have written this once on a lonely day. only, my thoughts kept me company. some dirty thoughts, hahaha. here it is:

Apples

Do people know they're being watched?
When you sit alone
Glance around for your only friend
Waiting like there's so much more time
The shadows change
The clouds remove themselves
only to let another drift in front of the sun
Comparing apples to oranges
My friend says you can't rhyme with orange
There is an end after all

A cigarette in one hand
I wish the other had a beer
But my eyes don't cheer for football
I'd rather watch these people
Wondering which one or two would deep down want to love me
with their tongue

I see so many apples
Sweet to the core, I bet
I'd love to watch more of them
in their shady areas, from the apple tree
when those clouds cover the stars
and the sun cannot be seen
when they are vulnerable to vision
and when they are comfortable in their hiding

There is my friend now
But he's too far away
I'll just go moderate my loneliness elsewhere
where more apples can be seen

I want a banana
to remind me
of Sir Roger Green
which
is
coincidentally
the color
of apples
whereas I am
Blue
the color
of
the clouds
and shadows
