To feel again in May
The quivering light
That flow through all things.
Sitting on an old tree stump
Bare foot
Intoxicated
Absorbing
The sacredness of this evening.
To feel again in May
The sun on my face
Appearing from behind a cloud
A soft warm wind
Bringing the scent of hawthorn-
Stops me in my tracks .
To feel again in May
The moist mossed grass
Walking barefoot by a ditch
Spellbound by
Bountiful overflowing flowers of Hawthorn
To feel again in May
reverence
For this sacred captured moment
Imaginings from the Beginning of Time-
Such Beauty

To feel again in May
To feel again in May..
as if I'd not felt this way
in years..
To feel again in May,
as if I'd always wanted to, but
couldn't.
To feel again in May,
as May brings heavenly presents
in its sweetest storms.
To feel again in May,
its blossoms.. its fragrant
promises
(that I be taken in
your arms)

Lonnbubh - this is beautiful!
I feel as though I have walked here.
I also enjoyed the poem that it seem to inspire by Violet, the two poems sit nicely together.

Nice, but in my opinion, the use of the word "sacred" detracts from it.

.. (nice to see you here, by the way)..

.. you know, when I read the line without the word 'sacred,' it does seem an improvement.
Uh, actually, G.D.M.. this Easter my nephew was going over the whole Moses story, since he's learning about it at school, so it was a bit of a refresher course for me [as I'd not seen that Hollywood movie in quite some time now].. Oh, and we were trying to remember all the plagues.. don't know if we got them all, in fact..
[unhealable boils, seems the most nasty, I thought]

Thank you all for taking the time to read and comment .
I took GDM's advice and read it without 'sacred' quiet a few times and may leave it out.
But it may stay there for the pace
Who knows what next May shall inspire
